After the pre-collection project, I decided to focus in one painting in particular, which pictured a girl skiing, as my main inspiration. I connected with sportswear and skiwear, taking a sporty and masculine look from skiwear and adding a feminine touch from the Korean traditional dress.

 

This project features an interaction of both hand-knitted and machine-knitted items such as a floral bomber jacket and a long jacquard sweater. Both long jacquard sweaters were washed to give full depth to the patterns. Three different machines (different gauges) were used for every single stripe.

 

Designs are simple as I wanted to focus on my stitches, use of bold and bright colors, and attention to fully fashioning.
